At Grouse Tale Shorthairs our training philosophy is one of patience and repetition. We believe that if you take your time and pay attention to the dogs demeanor and attitude you can adjust training practices accordingly. We realize that not all dogs learn by the same techniques or at the same pace. We also believe that once a dog has shown under standing of a new command or step in the process then it is best to proof the dog with many repetitions. As the dog improves newer elements are added to the training program. This approach has served us and our clients well. Each dog that leaves Grouse Tale Shorthairs is trained to the owner's satisfaction. We are committed to helping our clients with any follow up issues once the dog is home.
